Alipay+ Partners with Windcave to ‘enhance cross-border mobile payment solutions’ for merchants in Australia and New Zealand Saturday, 02 November 2024 02:51 Alipay+ Partners with Windcave to ‘enhance cross-border mobile payment solutions’ for merchants in Australia and New Zealand Featured 0 Alipay+, a suite of cross-border mobile payment and digitalization technology solutions operated by Ant International, and Windcave, a leading payment technology provider in New Zealand, has announced that the two sides have formed a partnership to bring seamless mobile payment solutions to merchants across Australia and New Zealand. Alipay+ says this collaboration will enable 10,000+ local merchants to connect with travellers from Asia and Europe, by enabling the merchants to accept payments from mobile payment methods across eight countries and regions. According to Alipay, consumers from 15 of Alipay+’s mobile payment partners can now enjoy a more seamless payment experience when they travel, shop and dine in Australia and New Zealand: Alipay (Chinese Mainland), AlipayHK (Hong Kong SAR, China), MPay (Macao SAR, China), Touch'n Go eWallet (Malaysia), MyPB (Malaysia), Hipay (Mongolia), GCash (The Philippines), HelloMoney (The Philippines), Changi Pay (Changi Airport Group, Singapore), OCBC (Singapore), Kakao Pay (South Korea), Naver Pay (South Korea), Toss Pay (South Korea), TrueMoney (Thailand), and Tinaba (Italy). And, Alipay notes that at any Windcave terminal displaying the Alipay+ logo, consumers can simply open their preferred digital wallet app, scan the QR code, and complete their payment in their local currency in seconds. “This streamlined process enhances the payment experience for both consumers and merchants, making transactions quick, easy, and secure. “Through this partnership, merchants can better serve the growing number of travellers to Australia and New Zealand, who can now use their preferred e-wallets even when abroad. This opens up new sales opportunities and provides a competitive advantage by offering a broader range of payment options,” explains Alipay, adding that merchants who have already integrated Alipay+’s payment processing solutions through Windcave include the LagardèreAWPL group, RealNZ and NZONE Skydive.
