Sign Up × EastEnders enthusiasts are convinced that a much-loved character is on the brink of being written out, and they're not pleased about it. Viewers will remember that the dying villain Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) has been determined to bring down his son Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) after discovering their plot to seize control of the family business. In response, Nish devised a scheme that would result in Vinny's arrest as the ultimate revenge. In Monday's episode (23rd September), Nish disclosed to his associate Harti (Jason Kavan) that he was framing Vinny for their money laundering operation in the chicken shops. Nish later directed Vinny to deliver a large bag of cash to a secretive meeting intended for purchasing new premises. However, upon hearing this, Suki advised Vinny to avoid the meeting - advice which he disregarded. Nish is trying to take Vinny down (Image: BBC) Read More Suki then met with Harti and persuaded him to reveal all about Nish's plan - a conversation witnessed by Nish's son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara). Meanwhile, Nish was seen making a phone call to the police, reports the Daily Star . Luckily, Vinny didn't attend the set up, later informing a worried Suki that he had gone to the meeting but saw police swarming the area. A distressed Suki explained that Nish would stop at nothing to make them suffer, convincing Vinny to leave Walford by arranging a taxi for him through Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace). Nish unexpectedly arrived, demanding to see if Vinny was present. Fortunately, he managed to hide from his abusive father and after Nish departed, Vinny and Suki shared a touching farewell. Fans are fearing the worst for Vinny (Image: BBC) However, in a dramatic twist on the show, as Vinny was being ferried away in a taxi, it was shockingly revealed that his father Nish was the driver, sending fans into overdrive with speculation. Alarmed that the storyline could take a deadly turn, viewers flocked to social media to voice their concerns. A concerned fan posted on an EastEnders discussion group: "Please don't tell me nish kills vinny." Another viewer expressed their anxiety with a comment: "Omg what's going to happen to poor Vinny now." The tension continued as another added: "Vinny's dead now then." Echoing the sentiment, one more said: "OMG please don't let him hurt Vinny."
